Jason Simons is a consultant project manager specialising in information and technology. Jason has worked all around the world installing business solutions, which have included some rather unusual projects, such as developing and installing an encrypted presidential hotline between Canada and Russia, and encrypted communications lines for Canadian Embassy staff.
Consulting for Wanganui District Council Jason delivers business solutions, and provides executive level accountability and successful change management for key IT projects.
Since Jason has been involved with Wanganui District Council, there have been several wins. Wanganui was one of the first four cities to win the Ultra fast Broadband initiative, with the council being a finalist in the TUANZ Innovator of the Year 2011.
Wanganui has gained with international recognition by the Intelligent Communities Forum Smart21 in 2012, 2013, and 2014.
Jason has been received the ALGIM Excellence in Leadership Award in 2014.
